The 9-to-5
Exit Strategy Challenge

An exit strategy isn't how you leave.
It's knowing you could.

If you'd rather organize a pantry than sit through another meeting — spend five evenings building a 90-day plan to turn the skills you already use to organize, coordinate, and run a home into extra income, a flexible side business, or your next career.

Another Spin on
"Working From Home"

You've probably spent years saying you want a work-from-home job.

But what if your next opportunity isn't working from your home? What if you could get paid to work from a home — doing the kinds of things you already genuinely enjoy?

Organizing Planning Coordinating Creating systems Preparing for guests Managing calendars Resetting spaces Shopping & sourcing Holiday prep Seasonal living

If you're the person who gets excited about reorganizing the pantry, setting up a family command center, or tackling the project everyone else keeps avoiding — those skills may be worth more than you realize.

And no, you do not need to become an influencer to make money doing them.

There is an entire world of private household work — including the professional field of house management — where organization, coordination, hospitality, and household systems are the job.

This Isn't About
Quitting on Friday

Your exit strategy may actually be a safety-net strategy.

Maybe you want an extra $300–500 a month.

Maybe you want one or two clients on Saturdays.

Maybe you want another income stream, so your paycheck isn't your only option.

Maybe you want to build something slowly, alongside the career you already have.

Or maybe you've been thinking, for a while now:

"There has to be something else I could be doing."

You don't need to know the answer yet. That's what these five days are for.

Let's Make Sure This Is
Actually For You

This is for you if

  • You love organization, systems, schedules, or planning.
  • You're always the one coordinating trips, holidays, school schedules, and family logistics.
  • You get real satisfaction from taking something chaotic and making it functional.
  • You want extra income without leaving your current job.
  • You're curious about professional house management but not ready to commit to training.
  • You want a realistic plan instead of another "follow your dreams" speech.

This isn't for you if

  • You want someone to hand you a done-for-you business.
  • You want to build a personal brand or become an influencer.
  • You're planning to quit your job on Friday.
  • You'd rather watch than work — we build your plan during the sessions.
  • You want a guarantee that it'll work before you're willing to test it.

You don't need household experience, a business, a website, or any idea yet of what you'd offer. You just need to be willing to find out what the skills you already have could become.

Before, During & After

How the Week
Actually Works

This is not five hours of passive webinars. You'll be working on your own strategy during every session.

The moment you register

Your Household Skills Snapshot

A short pre-challenge exercise: what kinds of household projects you actually enjoy, what you're naturally good at, what people already ask you for help with, how much time you'd realistically give this, and what you'd like it to earn. There are no correct answers — just first impressions. We use them from Day 1.

Every night · 7:00–8:00 PM ET

One Hour, Live With Lena

Each session builds directly into the next, so what you finish on Monday is what you work from on Tuesday.

  • 30–35 min live teaching
  • 15–20 min guided implementation
  • Discussion, examples & Q&A

After each session

Replays, Through Sunday

Every session is recorded and posted for registered participants, available through Sunday, October 25 at 11:59 PM ET — so if a night gets away from you, you can catch up and still finish your plan while the challenge is underway.

Thursday · 12:00 PM ET

Submit Your Offer

Want yours considered for Friday? Submit the offer you build on Day 3 by Thursday noon. Five will be broken down on Day 5 — what's working, what's unclear, and what would make a busy household say yes.

Founder & CEO, The ANEMO Institute

Before professionalizing my passion for home management and eventually founding The ANEMO Institute, I worked for federally funded workforce programs — helping people get trained, credentialed, and placed into jobs. After that I spent years in marketing and program development for certification bodies and training academies.

Career transitions and credentialing have been my entire working life. House management is where the two finally met.

Today I train and certify professional house managers through the ANEMO Institute's PHMC program.

I'm teaching all five nights of this challenge myself.

Questions, Answered

The things people ask before they register.

Do I need professional household experience?

No. You don't need experience, a business, a website, or any idea yet of what you'd offer — figuring that out is literally Day 1 and Day 3.

What you do need is a willingness to look honestly at the skills you already have.

What if I miss a night?

Every session is recorded and posted for registered participants. Replays stay available through Sunday, October 25 at 11:59 PM ET, so you can catch up and still finish your plan while the challenge is underway.

I'm not in Eastern time. Can I still do this?

Yes. Sessions run 7:00–8:00 PM Eastern, which is:

  • 6:00 PM Central
  • 5:00 PM Mountain
  • 4:00 PM Pacific

If that doesn't fit your evenings, the replays are there through Sunday the 25th.

Do I need a business license to participate?

No. This challenge is about building your plan, not registering a company. If you decide to move forward after the five days, we'll point you toward what setting things up actually involves.

What do I need for the sessions?

A device with Zoom, an hour without interruptions, and your challenge workbook — which you'll get as soon as you register. That's it.

Is it refundable?

Yes, with one condition: attend all five sessions live, on camera. If you do that and still feel it wasn't worth your $27, email [email protected] after the challenge concludes and we'll refund you in full.

Being upfront about it: the live-attendance requirement is the guarantee. Replay-only participation doesn't qualify.

Is this the same as the PHMC certification?

No, and it's worth being clear about it. This is a five-day strategy challenge. It awards no credential and it will not make you a professional house manager.

The Professional House Manager Certification (PHMC) is The ANEMO Institute's separate eight-module program with portfolio requirements and a real credential at the end. This challenge is a way to explore whether that path interests you — before you invest in it.

When does registration close?

Sunday, October 18 at 11:59 PM ET — the night before we begin. Pricing goes from $27 to $37 on October 5, so joining before then saves you $10.

Maybe You Don't Need Another
"Work-From-Home" Job

Maybe you need a different way to think about working from home altogether. Maybe the organizing, planning, hosting and coordinating you already enjoy has been trying to tell you something.

  • You don't have to quit your job to find out.
  • You don't have to launch a business overnight.
  • You don't have to commit to an entirely new career.

For five days, give us one hour of your 5-to-9.
Let's find out what it could build.
